Primary Service Area — Coastal Northeast Florida

Our primary service area covers the coastal corridor of Northeast Florida from Jacksonville south to Daytona Beach, including barrier islands, beachside communities, and inland areas within a short drive of the coast. This region includes active boating communities along the Intracoastal Waterway, established residential neighborhoods, growing developments in Nocatee and Fruit Cove, and commercial districts in St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra, and the Jacksonville area. Services We Provide

Prime Leather Fix offers three main categories of service across Northeast Florida: Boat Upholstery — Repair and reupholstery of boat seats, captain’s chairs, bench seating, leaning posts, and console cushions. We work on fishing boats, pontoons, center consoles, bay boats, cruisers, and other common recreational vessels. For reupholstery projects, seats are removed, completed in our workshop, and returned ready for reinstallation. Home Furniture Repair — On-site repair of leather and vinyl furniture in residential homes. Services include cuts, tears, scratches, surface cracks, fading, split seams, and color restoration. Full seat reupholstery is also available for dining chairs, bar stools, and kitchen seating. Most repairs are completed in a single visit. Commercial Furniture Repair — Repair and reupholstery for restaurants, hotels, office seating, and other business interiors. Work can be scheduled around business hours and completed in phases to reduce disruption. Volume pricing is available for multi-piece projects. How Service Works

Step 1: Send photos by text to (630) 730-9959 or email to primeleatherfix@gmail.com. Include photos of the damage or the furniture or boat seats requiring work, and let us know your location.
Step 2: We respond with an estimate and timeline, typically within 24 hours. For most projects, we can provide an accurate quote from photos without requiring an on-site visit first.
Step 3: We schedule the work around your availability. For on-site repairs, we come directly to your location. For reupholstery projects, we remove the seats, complete the work in our workshop, and return them finished. Step 4: Payment is due upon completion. We accept cash, check, Venmo, and Zelle.

Coverage Map and Travel

Our service area covers a broad section of Northeast Florida centered on St. Augustine, with coverage extending north toward Jacksonville, south toward Daytona Beach, and inland through communities in St. Johns County and nearby areas. Most service requests are within a reasonable drive of our St. Augustine base. Travel to locations farther from the coast or outside the most common route area may be available and can depend on project size, scheduling, and the number of pieces involved. If your location is not listed on this page, contact us with your city or zip code and we will confirm whether we can serve your area.

FAQ Page

Q: How far in advance do I need to schedule?

A: For on-site repairs, we can often schedule a visit for the next day or within a few days after reviewing your photos. For reupholstery projects that require workshop time, lead times depend on current workload and the number of pieces involved. During peak boating season, scheduling times may be longer.

Q: Can you provide service outside the listed cities?

A: Possibly. The cities listed on this page are locations where we work on a regular basis, but we also travel to nearby areas of Northeast Florida depending on the project type, our schedule, and your location. Send us your city or zip code along with photos, and we will confirm availability and provide an estimate.

Q: What if my city is not listed but I am near one of the service areas?

A: Contact us and let us know your location. We often serve communities located near our primary service areas, especially when the project aligns with our existing routes and overall schedule.

Q: Do I need to bring furniture or boat seats to a workshop?

A: Not unless you prefer to do so. Most furniture repair work is completed at the customer’s location. For full reupholstery projects, we remove the seats or cushions, complete the work in our workshop, and then return them to you when they are finished.

Q: Can you give me an estimate from photos?

A: Yes, in most cases. Send us close-up photos of the damaged area, one full photo of the item, and your city. We can usually provide an estimated cost and timeline from photos without needing an initial on-site visit. The main exceptions are hidden or structural issues that only become visible once the work has begun.
